I just got a used Celestron Nexstar 8SE Telescope! It’s completely computerized, although I understand it will take an investment of 1-2 hours a night before being able to use those features. After much research I decided to go with the Schmidt-Cassegrain type, so I can travel with my scope out of Toronto for better viewing experience.

It’s got much better features that I had hoped my first telescope would have – an 8″ aperture, view finder, remote control and a built in star maps.
